Outex Camera Covers — Replacement, Upgrade, or Specialty
The Outex cover is the outer shell of your waterproof housing system. Whether you’re replacing a damaged cover, adding a second cover for a different accessory configuration, or upgrading from an Entry Kit to the Pro system, this page has every cover variant available.
All covers are compatible with all Outex glass ports and accessories. Covers come in two body sizes — Regular and Large — and in several specialty variants depending on the add-ons you use.
Which Cover Do I Need?
Use the guide below to identify the right cover for your setup. If you’re unsure, contact us before ordering.
- Entry Cover (Small) 100X — For Entry Kit users. No rear glass opening. Covers basic camera bodies only. Upgrade to a Pro Cover + Rear Glass to access full camera functionality.
- Pro Cover Regular (110) — Standard Pro cover for most cameras and lenses. Includes rear glass opening for viewfinder and LCD access. Fits most film, DSLR, mirrorless, and some medium format and cinema camera bodies.
- Pro Cover Large (130) — Required for large-body cameras, cinema cameras, cameras with a battery grip attached, or lenses 200mm and longer.
- Pro Cover T1 (110T1 / 130T1) — Pro cover with one bottom opening for the Cable Adaptor (tethering/cable pass-through) or Tripod Adaptor. Choose this if you use either the Cable Pass-Through or Tripod Add-on Kit.
- Pro Cover T2 (110T2 / 130T2) — Pro cover with two openings (bottom and side) for simultaneous use of both a Cable Adaptor and a Tripod Adaptor.
- Pro Cover Flash (110F / 130F) — Pro cover with a built-in flash space for mounting a standard hot-shoe flash unit. Choose this if you use the Flash Add-on Kit.
- Pro Cover Flash + Tripod Opening (110FT1 / 130FT1) — Pro cover with flash space and one bottom T opening. Equivalent to the Flash, Cable & Tripod All-in-One Kit cover.
- Pro Cover Handle/Grip (110G / 130G) — Pro cover with a handle/grip mount for handheld stability during active shooting.
- Detached Flash Cover FT1 — Standalone flash cover with one T opening, sold separately from the main cover system. Contact us if you need help identifying whether this is the right variant for your setup.
Regular vs. Large: Which Size?
All cover variants are available in both Regular and Large sizes. Use the chart below to confirm the right size for your camera body and lens combination. If you’re between sizes or unsure, choose Large or contact us.
Upgrading from an Entry Kit?
If you currently own an Entry Kit and want to unlock the full Pro system — including rear glass access, LCD and viewfinder visibility, and the complete add-on ecosystem — you need to add a Pro Cover (Regular or Large) from this page plus a Rear Glass assembly. Your existing front glass port carries over unchanged.

Dome Size Guide
**120mm dome** — Compact, lighter, more portable. Great value for most underwater and split-level work.
**180mm dome** — Larger dome = better optical correction, especially for wide-angle lenses and split-level photography. Recommended for professional and demanding use. Heavier and bulkier than the 120mm.
