"Bought a new, larger diameter port for my housing. Quick and painless purchase and delivery."
"I'm professional surf photographer, working in the industry over 20 years. This is the best glass port I ever had, no more problems with water drops in the photos! High recommend."
"Outstanding underwater photography product for expanding your creativity in the underwater world! The compact, modular, lightweight design are a few of the features that make this a wonderful alternative to large, expensive, heavy hard shell underwater camera cases."
"Good quality"
"System for my Canon R5 is perfect. I'm a hobbyist and the system works exactly as they say and was able to get some incredible wet and underwater images. Past this I had an issue with one len's mount and the customer support was one of the best experiences I've had since I can remember. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!"
"Incredibly prompt shipping and responsive customer service. Fit my lens Perfectly"
"I bought a front glass 67mm and a small cover for my Sony a7iii and Tamron 17-28mm f2.8 for use in Hawaii during a vacation this February 2022. It worked flawlessly for photographing and filming manta rays while snorkeling off the Island of Hawaii in the evening. No leakage or fogging. The pliable cover made it easy to access the dials and buttons. However during a subsequent snorkel segment off Kauai during a boat tour, I rushed in placing the camera inside the cover and in placing the lens - so water started leaking after 10 min in the water. Fortunately, I knew to frequently check for leakages and was able to get out of the water in time to avoid any damage to the camera or lens. There were no perforations in the cover, and I highly suspect that I did not seal the glass onto to cover appropriately. I'm giving this a 5 because it worked as I expected, it was really easy to bring with me on my trip, and was easy to use (once you accept that placing the camera in the cover inherently takes 5 minutes)."
"nice!"
"so far so good, but is new so...... really easy to use with any lens, test it only in pools, no sea yet."
The Outex flat front glass port is the optical element that seals your lens to the Outex cover, creating a fully waterproof housing system. It attaches at your lens’s filter thread, moves in unison with the lens to maintain focus and optical alignment, and is made of professional optical glass — not plastic or acrylic. Select the filter thread size that matches your lens.
This page is for buying a replacement or additional front port. Front ports are included in all Outex Pro Kits, Entry Kits, and the Dome Lens Add-on Kit.
Your lens’s filter thread size is printed on the lens barrel or lens cap, preceded by a “&diameter;” symbol (e.g. &diameter;77). Common sizes are 49, 52, 55, 58, 62, 67, 72, 77, 82, 86, 95, and 105mm. If your size is not listed or you’re unsure, contact us before ordering — step-up rings and other solutions are sometimes available.
The flat front port is the standard port included with all Outex kits. It performs well for above-water, surface-level, and standard underwater photography. For split-level (half-over-half) and wide-angle underwater work, a dome port is recommended instead — domes correct optical aberrations that occur at the air-water boundary.
Both port types are fully interchangeable on any Outex cover. Many users own both and switch depending on the shot.

**120mm dome** — Compact, lighter, more portable. Great value for most underwater and split-level work.
**180mm dome** — Larger dome = better optical correction, especially for wide-angle lenses and split-level photography. Recommended for professional and demanding use. Heavier and bulkier than the 120mm.
