Outex Straps & Strap Parts — Replacement & Additional Components
The Outex strap system is modular — individual components can be purchased separately for replacement, to build a custom carry configuration, or to add strap capability to a new cover. All parts are backwards compatible with each other and with all Outex covers and kits.
Select your part from the dropdown above. Mix and match as needed for your setup.
What Each Part Does
- Neck Strap — Standard adjustable neck strap for carrying the Outex housing around your neck. Attaches to the Strap Holder (Rear Glass) via connectors. Replacement or additional strap for any kit.
- Wrist Strap — Compact wrist strap for handheld security, included with the Phone Pro Kit. Also available separately for any camera kit setup. Attaches via connectors.
- Neck Strap and Strap Holder — Bundled option: includes both the Neck Strap and the Strap Holder (Rear Glass) together. Best choice if you need a complete neck carry solution and don’t already have a strap holder.
- Strap Holder (Rear Glass) — Mounts to the rear glass bracket and provides the attachment points for the Neck or Wrist Strap connectors. Required for neck or wrist strap use with Pro Kit covers. Purchase separately if you already have a neck strap but need the holder.
- Tripod Strap Holder — Alternative strap holder designed for covers with a T opening (T1, T2, FT1). Mounts at the tripod adaptor position rather than the rear glass bracket. Use this if your cover does not have a rear glass bracket attachment point, or if you prefer to route straps through the T opening.
- Connectors (pair) — The hardware clips that connect the Neck or Wrist Strap to the Strap Holder. Sold as a replacement pair if connectors are lost or damaged.
Compatibility
- All strap parts are compatible with all Outex covers — Entry (100X), Pro Regular (110), and Pro Large (130)
- Compatible with all specialty covers: T1, T2, F, FT1, G variants
- Modular and backwards compatible across all Outex kit generations

Dome Size Guide
**120mm dome** — Compact, lighter, more portable. Great value for most underwater and split-level work.
**180mm dome** — Larger dome = better optical correction, especially for wide-angle lenses and split-level photography. Recommended for professional and demanding use. Heavier and bulkier than the 120mm.
