Photojournalists Ben Lowy & Marvi Lacar document Turtle Cold Stun in Texas

While Texas suffered through freezing temperatures and a disabled power grid, Sea Turtle Inc., a volunteer organization fought to save the lives of thousands of cold stunned sea turtles stranded on the shores of the state.  With the help of a community of volunteers, Sea Turtle, sheltered around 5500 turtles so they could later re release them into the wild. The efforts were captured by professional photographers and photojournalist couple Ben Lowy and Marvi Lacar, using Sony cameras and the Outex underwater housing system.

Dr. Karina Oliane recognized with world record for longest Tyrolean traverse of a lava field - another nice accolade on Internation Women's Day.  Karina is a medical doctor, tv-host, adventurer super hero.  When she's not helping underserved kids in underdeveloped countries she's skydiving, storm-chasing, or flying while strapped to the wings of an airplane. This video shows her first experience with the Outex underwater housing system - a nice match for the globe-trotting, travel-adventure lifestyle of story telling. Can't wait to see what she does next.
