Underwater, touchscreen responsiveness is limited by water pressure — the same effect as pressing the screen with multiple fingers simultaneously. The iPhone 16 introduced a dedicated Camera Control button — a capacitive slider and button on the right side of the device that provides direct access to camera functions: shutter, zoom, exposure, focus mode, and more. It supports press, slide, and double-press inputs.
