Non-profit uses Outex underwater housings to study bull-trout conservation in Montana

Hi there,
My name is Andrea at the Swan Valley Connections, a conservation and education nonprofit in northwest Montana.
Outex recently sent us some additional parts at no cost in support of our small nonprofit with a limited budget, and we can't thank you enough for helping us out!

At SVC, we spend a lot of time in the Swan River and its tributaries studying bull trout, which is a Montana Species of Concern and was listed as a threatened species by the US Fish & Wildlife Service back in 1998. Over the summer and fall months, we partner with the U.S. Forest Service to conduct snorkel surveys as well as take students from our college field programs (and some community members) out in the river to learn about forest-stream interactions, watershed ecology, and bull trout habitat, threats, and management.
Thanks to our Outex camera housing, we've been able to capture some incredible images and video to help share the story of our watershed, what's threatening it, and what we are trying to do to help it.  We believe that through the power of storytelling, we can inspire people to support our efforts and care more about this wild and intact but threatened ecosystem.
