French Photographer Joeva Dachelet, currently residing in Australia Sells Underwater Prints at Resorts, Boutiques, and Online.
I've always been a nature lover but my life really changed 6 months ago when I got a job on Heron island, a resort right into the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.
I've almost never snorkeled before I arrived on the island but I quickly develop a real passion for the ocean and I knew I needed to take my camera with me to capture the incredible beauty of the marine world surrounding me.
I've never shoot underwater before (except with a GoPro) and Outex was a good choice for me to develop my underwater photography skills without breaking the bank.
I've been using my outex for a good 4 months now, snorkeling every week, almost everyday. I use an Olympus EM1-III with a Panasonic Leica 8-18mm, and the Outex Pro Kit with optical glass Dome 120mm Add On Kit. for it. I've been happy with system, and while I'm still considering purchasing a hard case for diving, I love what I can do with Outex - specially when a heavy, hard case isn't viable.
People sometimes laugh at my "camera condom", but they are amazed when they see the quality of the photos, and the results I get with it. I'm now still living on the island and I'm selling my photos at the resorts, boutiques, and online, so my Outex system has really helped me enter the professional world of Underwater photography!
