Hi, I’m Kirill Umrikhin, a professional photographer. I mostly shoot action sports, travel, different cultural/music/etc. events and also specialise in drone photography and videography.
I’m a Nikon, Quiksilver, Rosa Khutor, Svyaznoy.travel, SanDisk and Manfrotto ambassador. I’m a Quiksilver, Roxy and DC team manager in Russia and i look after an amazing team of athletes in such sports as snowboarding, skating, wakeboarding, surfing, windsurfing and moto sport.
I’m from Krasnogorsk, a city on the outskirts of Moscow. I got hooked on photography at school and i was also interested in graphics, architecture and design. I graduated from the Institute of Journalism and Literature Art where i studied at the photo journalism department. My professional career started in 2004 when i got a job at Onboard snowboarding magazine.
Since then my photos were published in different sports, glamour and news magazines in Russia, Europe, USA, Canada and Japan. My clients are Quiksilver, Roxy, DC, RedBull, Pepsi co, Chanel, Nike, adidas, Nokia, Beeline, Vans, Kona, Traektoria, Sport-master, Kant, Nissan, and others.
Since 2013 i give lectures and conduct work shops in sport and travel photography.
My photographs took part in many exhibitions and won various prices at different photo contests, for example, The Best of Russia 2013 and 2014, got into semi-finals of RedBull Illume 2012 and took part in Vertmir Extreme Photo 2014, 2016.
