Does Outex Float?

Yes, Outex floats!

The Outex underwater housing system that makes camera gear waterproof also allows it to float—even with your heavy camera and lens inside. This happens because there's enough trapped air inside the Outex camera housing to offset the weight of the gear. You may also control how much float or buoyancy there is by controlling how much air you allow inside the cover when you seal it. Simply squeeze out the air before you seal it to reduce the amount of trapped air and flotation, or vice versa.
